Healthiest Employer Award

The Atlanta Business Chronicle has recognized PBD Worldwide as one of Atlanta’s healthiest employers!

PBD was awarded the number 4 spot on the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Healthiest Employers list in the medium-sized company category. For this inaugural award program Atlanta area businesses participated in a survey that measured several key categories including culture and leadership commitment, strategic planning and foundational components.

This prestigious honor was earned by creating an environment that encourages and supports healthy lifestyle choices. Since 2003 PBD has been supporting healthy lifestyles by hosting walking and weight loss competitions, reimbursing gym membership fees, banning smoking from all PBD properties and providing health education. In 2010 a partnership with Community Health Network (CHN) propelled PBD’s wellness program to the next level. PBD is now able to provide annual health screenings, a personal health coach and monthly lunch and learns to our employees.

PBD’s Senior Management Team not only supports the wellness initiatives but participates as well. PBD believes an employee’s health directly correlates to their performance and overall happiness. Keeping PBD employees happy, healthy and successful will keep PBD successful.
