Internet email may travel and be stored unencrypted on other networks and machines out of both the sender’s and recipient’s control. Therefore, during this transmission from sender to recipient, emails are susceptible to interception by third parties. To ensure your data is secure, we recommend that you never send payment information via unencrypted email.
To protect our clients and customers, PBD Worldwide Fulfillment Services will no longer be accepting credit card payment data via internet email transmission as of June 1, 2008. PBD’s policy states that confidential and sensitive information is never to be sent unencrypted through email.
