PBD Worldwide is excited to announce the opening of a strategic west coast distribution center. In an effort to best serve our clients and their customers, PBD’s Nevada facility will open on November 1, 2017. PBD’s nationwide fulfillment network will now include six facilities strategically located across the United States in an effort to reduce transportation spend for our clients while cutting down on delivery times.
“A major pain point for our clients and e-commerce businesses as a whole has been the rising expectations of customers including the demand for faster delivery times at a lower cost,” said Scott Dockter, CEO/President of PBD Worldwide. "Our presence on the west coast will help ease this pain by providing flexible options such as spreading inventory across facilities to meet the next-day or two-day delivery options customers have come to expect without the high price tag.”
The new Nevada fulfillment center will be led by 12 year PBD veteran Minda Widjaksono. "We are excited for Minda to be leading our new west coast facility," added Dockter. "She is a great representation of PBD's culture and her experience has prepared her well to manage our Nevada facility efficiently. We are confident that Minda and her team will continue to provide the same exceptional service our clients experience at our current facilities."
